On March 21, 2014, SeaWorld celebrated 50 years of entertaining and educating guests of all ages about our oceans and marine life. To mark this momentous occasion, SeaWorld has exciting new features at all three SeaWorld parks up until September 7, 2015.
SeaWorld is offering a brand new interactive experience called Explorer’s Reef, allowing guests to immerse themselves in an undersea oasis and befriend some of the park’s ocean-dwellers, including sharks, rays and cleaner fish.
The 50th anniversary celebration will also include more surprise encounters with animal ambassadors. With SeaWorld’s Surprise Squad roaming the park all day, you never know what exciting prizes and gifts you might get!
During the 50th Celebration, SeaWorld is highlighting its commitment to the environment and its passion for protecting our oceans with sculptures by an environmental art group called Washed Ashore. The large-scale marine life sculptures made from ocean debris serve to remind us that our ocean-inhabiting friends need healthy environments.
