Don your scariest costume for this year’s Boulevard BOO! Parade!
Running along El Cajon Blvd. in the College Area of San Diego on Saturday October 25, this family event has more floats, more zombies, more music and more surprises than ever before.
Follow Mr. Boo! (the parade’s Drum Major) to the Boo After Party & Float Award’s Ceremony at the College Ave. Baptist Church from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for live music, carnival rides, games and festival food.
The College Area Business District, a non-profit corporation that manages the area’s business, produces The Boulevard BOO! Parade. The parade brings thousands of people to the commercial district to enjoy the local restaurants and shops.
Fun fact: El Cajon Blvd. has a history with parades dating back to 1937. The longest parade on the boulevard took place in May 1949 – it was seven miles long!
